NON-PROFITS, SCHOOLS AND CHURCHES

This price is for Non-profits, Schools and Churches only and includes a naturalist. The boat holds 49 passengers. We have various boats that we work with, this is price is for a boat that holds a large group.

PRIVATE FAMILY OR SMALL GROUP CHARTERS
Around $2000.00
We find that families are very interested in private tours. We can provide box lunches. We have various boats for this and will match a boat for your needs. (smaller boats for $1500.00)

CORPORATE OFFSITES AND TEAM BUILDING CHARTERS
$3000.00
This is not your conventional team building event, but it is an interesting alternative. Most people have not been to the Farallon Islands and many local companies have found this a unique corporate offiste. We will provide a naturalist. Again, the boat will hold up to 49 passengers and in nice weather that is fine, but we reccomend keeping it below 45 passengers. This boat is for large groups. We do have smaller boats as well.

BIRD-WATCHING CHARTERS

We have expert bird naturalist available for naration. We can provide you a Coastal Bird-watching Charter, A Farallon Islands Bird-Watching Charter, or a San Francisco Bay Bird-Watching Charter. The main difference in these charters is offshore versus onshore. Offshore charters that go out the Golden Gate Bridge and either take a coastal trip or make the passage to the Farallon Islands must be coast guard certified with life boats and life vests for everyone. Onshore or Bay cruises can use more comfortable elegant motoryachts with onshore coast guard certification. There is some very interesting San Francisco Bay Bird-watching, for example, the Egret Rookery in Northern Marin in June.



All boats carry current insurance for liabilty.

All of the boats that we charter for whale watching expeditions are coast guard certified for offshore. This means the captain is a Coast Guard Certified Captain, there are enough life vests for everyone, and that there are life boats on top of the vessel for eveyone. Offshore here in Northern California is stunning and beautiful and provides the opportunity to interface with whales, dolphin, sharks, birds, otter, the list goes on, but it commands full respect. We at SF BAY WHALE WATCHING have full respect for the sea and our aim is to provide you with access to the Farallon Islands and the California Coast in safety.
